Sun Tech's Meyer named 'New Dealer of the Year'

Steve Meyer of Sun Tech Glass Tinting in League City was named New Dealer of the Year for Huper Optik USA window film and energy solutions company.

Meyer also earned the Horizon Award and the Gulf Coast Regional Award during the company's annual meeting in Houston.

Meyer is a 25-year veteran of the window film industry. He is the first dealer to receive both the regional and national awards in the same year and will be nominated for the Circle of Regional Excellence that includes the top 5 percent of window film dealers in the U.S., Mexico, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Hüper Optik USA, a leader in the North American window film and energy solutions industry, recently awarded Steve Meyer of Sun Tech Glass Tinting the Huper Optik Gulf Coast Regional Award for 2007, and the Huper Optik North American Horizon Award for 2007.

Steve is a 25+ -year veteran of the window film industry, having applied over 2.5 million square feet of energy-saving window film throughout the Texas Gulf Coast, in commercial, and residential applications. Other attendees included dealers from around the country, including Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama.

Hüper Optik also named regional award winners from the Midwest, Central, and Southwest Regions including the following dealers: Robert Kersten, Quality Glass-Missouri; Todd Smith, Solar Eclipse-Georgia; Hugh Hernandez, Danny’s Family Window-Arizona; and Hank Weiss, (Hüper Optik Dealer of the Year) Glas Tint, New Jersey. “As our New Dealer of the Year, Steve has mentored dealers totally new to the window film industry, and developed a special software which he shared with the entire Hüper Optik network.
